Balance and Composure is a progressive punk indie rock band from Doylestown, PA.  They formed in 2007, as a result of the break-up of two local bands.  All of the members had played together at some point or another, with the average age only being 19.

The Things We Think We’re Missing was produced by Will Yip (Title Fight, Circa Survive), and mixed by Brad Wood (Smashing Pumpkins, Sunny Day Out).  In a recent interview with Kill Your Stereo on Balance and Composure’s front man, Jon Simmons, Jon states that the new album was written over a two week period while the band members stayed in a cabin in the middle of the Pennsylvania woods.

Balance and Composure will be kicking off their North American tour this week, including performances with Title Fight, as well as Coheed and Cambria.  The band will also be performing at a co-record release show with Touche Amore in Los Angeles on September 25, 2013.
