World renowned DJ and Producer Armin van Buuren returns to The
Lodge to master his new album Intense out today on Armada
Music. Chief Mastering Engineer Emily Lazar and her team at
The Lodge previously mastered Armin's hugely successful album Mirage back in 2010.
Armin returns 3 years later with his latest genre-bending production work including collaborations with Israeli violinist Miri Ben-Ari, Australian duo NERVO and vocalists Trevor Guthrie, Emma Hewitt, Laura Jansen, Fiora and many other gifted artists. Armin always has the power to inspire as he pushes new boundaries in electronic dance music. He explains on his website ”Intense embraces more genres than any of my other albums, crossing over from progressive and trance to classic, even rock. Being a perfectionist, some of these tracks have taken me months to finish. Incorporating as many real instruments as possible, it includes a live orchestra, as well as the rock band of my brother Eller".
Voted the #1 DJ in the world, Armin has topped the DJ Mag Top 100 list 5 times and is continuously receiving numerous honors and awards for his musical achievements. Just this March he won 5 International Dance Music Awards at the Winter Music Conference in Miami for "Best Global DJ", "Best Producer", "Best Trance Track", "Best Podcast" and "Best Global Record Label".
