Nashville's popular garage punk band Be Your Own Pet are releasing their sophomore full length album on the 18th of this month! The album, titled "Get Awkward" (Universal Records) was mastered at The Lodge by Emily Lazar with Joe LaPorta assisting.The band, composed of Jemina Pearl, Nathan Vasquez, Jonas Stein and John Eatherly, quickly met international success with their quirky self-titled debut album in 2006. Just a few years out of high school and the foursome have already had 4 singles in the UK Top 40!
Produced by Steve McDonald (The Format) and mixed by frequent Lodge client Joe Chiccarelli (Frank Zappa, The Shins), the upcoming "Get Awkward" is sure to be another artful chart-topper. Keep your ears tuned!
