Thievery Corporation Release New Album Mastered By Emily Lazar & Joe LaPorta
Electronic music pioneers Thievery Corporation are redefining the way artists interact with their fans. The Washington DC based duo consisting of Rob Garza and Eric Hilton recently launched the world's first CHNL site on the legs of their recently released album "Culture of Fear", mastered right here at The Lodge by Emily Lazar and Joe LaPorta!
CHNL is a website that provides a direct & undiluted channel for artists to interact with their fans. CHNL gives content owners a unified medium to sell their work, as well as stream videos and connect with fans through social networking. "CHNL enables us to have a much closer and constant relationship with our fans," states Thievery Corporation co-founder Rob Garza. "Through the tour and into the fall, we're going to be revealing exciting new content and our CHNL will be the place to experience it."
With more than 1.2 million albums sold in the US over the past 15 years, the genre-smashing, establishment-thrashing Thievery Corporation continue to refine their craft. "Culture of Fear" their latest release is a self described, "cinematic-sounding inquiry into space rock that straddles the sweet spot between funk and soul, with a bit of dub and reggae thrown in for good measure." Along with raving reviews, "Culture of Fear"spent 2 months on the CMJ Electronic Charts!
