Brooklyn indie-rockers, The National, have released a gorgeous live Pitchfork performance, mastered at The Lodge by Joe LaPorta. The performance is part of a Pitchfork.tv "Special Presentation" series that includes 4 new tracks from the band's highly anticipated fifth studio album "High Violet" (4AD)- out May 11, 2010. The performance was recorded and mixed by producer/engineer David Tolomei.Truly cinematic, the video features an epic live performance of the band rocking out in an eerie abandoned castle on the Hudson River. It's quite amazing!
