The Raveonettes "Into The Night" EP Mastered by The Lodge

Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo of The Raveonettes at Sunset Sound Studios
Shoegaze rockers The Raveonettes just released a dreamy new EP titled "Into The Night" last week on The Orchard. The 4 song EP was mastered by Emily Lazar and her team at The Lodge and will serve as a pre-release to a full length that the duo is currently recording at the legendary Sunset Sound Studios in LA with engineer, Alonzo Vargas.

This EP will be the sixth Raveonettes release mastered at The Lodge! Yup, SIXTH! The Raveonettes have mastered previous albums with us including "Whip It On", "Lust Lust Lust", "In And Out Of Control", "Raven in The Grave" and most recently "B Sides and Rarities"

Dum Dum Girls Master New EP At The Lodge!

L.A. girl group Dum Dum Girls continue their throwback fuzz-rock legacy with the upcoming EP "He Gets Me High" (Sub Pop). Consisting of three original songs and a cover of The Smiths' "There Is A Light That Will Never Go Out,"He Gets Me High" is the band's second release to date and is as rugged, dreamy and hummable as ever. Co-produced by lead singer Dee Dee, Richard Gottehrer (The Strangeloves, Blondie, The Raveonettes), and Sune Rose Wagner of The Raveonettes, the EP was mixed by Alonzo Vargas (Dum Dum Girls, Fantasia) and mastered by Joe LaPorta at The Lodge, who also worked on the DDG's debut "I Will Be" last year.

Dum Dum Girls!

Dum Dum Girls' brand new debut album "I Will Be" (Subpop) just came out yesterday and is already causing quite the commotion.
Mastered by Joe LaPorta, "I Will Be" is a throw back to 60's girl group nostalgia with a punk swagger--- Think The Ronettes meets The Ramones.

The album was produced by the legendary Richard Gottehrer (who co-wrote "My Boyfriend's Back" and produced artists such as The Go-Go's and Blondie) and engineered/mixed by Alonzo Vargas.

One of our fave albums this year thus far- you can buy the album here. Watch the video for the single "Jail La La".
